This "1101" armchair model was designed by Giovanni "Nino" Zoncada and manufactured by the Italian company Cassina, the manufacturer's label is visible on the chair. The wide, round-shaped armchair body is upholstered in beige fabric and rests on tapered wooden legs. The armchair needs a new cover, which we are very happy to help you with. The armchair is in good vintage condition.
The design was a commission for the cruise ship "Stella-Maris-II". Zoncada, together with Gio Ponti and Gustav Pulitzer-Finali, was a leader in furnishing Italian cruise ships from the 1930s to the 1970s.
