Description

This rare pair of armchairs model "Kosmos" was designed by Augusto Bozzi and manufactured by Saporiti, Italy in 1954. The distinctive frame is made of black lacquered metal with brass feet. The rounded shape and generous depth/width of the shell make it a very comfortable lounge chair. Thanks to the sculptural wire frame and dynamic shape, the chairs look wonderful from any angle.

The chairs have been newly upholstered in a high quality fabric by Métapores Paris. The frames are in original and beautifully patinated condition with minor signs of wear. The rubbers are all in original condition but some are already a bit brittle.
